01Who signs, and when

A parent or legal guardian signs for every player under eighteen. Players over eighteen sign for themselves.

The waiver is part of the online sign-up. You complete it at checkout, before payment, and nothing needs printing or posting.

One signature covers the player for the season.

02What the waiver covers

In plain terms, it says you understand that baseball and softball carry a risk of injury, that you accept that risk on the player’s behalf, and that you allow us to arrange medical care if something happens while we cannot reach you.

• Acknowledgment of the risks of athletic participation
• Consent to emergency medical treatment
• Release of liability for the academy, its staff and the premises
• Confirmation that the player is medically fit to take part

03Photographs and video

We sometimes photograph sessions for the website and Instagram. This is a separate, optional tick at checkout and it is never bundled into the waiver.

You can say no and it changes nothing about the booking. If you say yes and change your mind later, email us and we will take the images down.

04Refunds and cancellations

Camps and clinics can be cancelled up to a set number of days before the first session for a full refund. After that we credit the fee against another program rather than refund it.

Lesson packages are not refundable once purchased. This is stated at the point of sale, on the package itself, and on the confirmation screen.

05Missed sessions and weather

The facility is indoors, so programs run whatever the weather. We only cancel for something that closes the building.

If we cancel a session, it is rescheduled or credited. If a player misses a session for their own reasons, we cannot credit it, but we will usually find them a slot in another group that week if there is room.

06Behavior in the facility

Players follow the instructions of the coaching staff at all times. Bats stay in the cages, and nobody steps into a live cage without being waved in.

Parents are welcome to watch from the designated area. We ask that coaching is left to the coaches during a session, because a player hearing two sets of instructions learns neither.
